2. IF LAUNCHER DOES NOT START

    1. You can bypass the launcher by using the Steam start option "Run game without launcher". This is something we recommend only for users where the launcher fails to start since the launcher is an important debug data tool.

    3. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T RUN THE GAME AS ADMIN (CAN BE AN ISSUE IF NO CONSOLE LOGS ARE CREATED)

3.1 Turn off Run as admin and remove compatibility modes for the executables
Please note: We have found that running the game or the launcher in admin mode or compatibility mode for earlier version of Windows causes several follow up issues. Therefore we DO NOT recommend using these settings for the launcher or Vermintide executables.
    1. In your Steam folder, find SteamApps\common\Warhammer End Times - Vermintide\launcher
    2. Right-click on the launcher.exe and select Properties, then click on the Compatibility tab. Here, you’ll find a number of options that may enable older software to run on modern versions of Windows. Make sure that none of these are used. Also make sure the Run this program as an administrator is NOT ticked. Click apply.
    3. Do step 2 above for the vermintide.exe, found in SteamApps\common\Warhammer End Times - Vermintide\binaries.
    3.2 Remove local user settings
You will encounter write permission issues once you removed your admin mode, therefore:
    1. Press Window button + R
    2. Type %appdata%.
    3. Open the folder Roaming
    4. Remove the folder Fatshark and all of its content.
    5. Restart the game via Steam (make sure that you have turned OFF the Run as admin option as described above.
